Airports
Oakland and San Francisco: Dawn Ranch is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes driving from both Oakland and San Francisco International Airports.
Sonoma County: For travel from Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Portland, or Seattle – the new Sonoma County Airport is just about 20 minutes from Guerneville. More info here.
Driving
From San Francisco – 75 Miles
-Take 101-North toward Santa Rosa
-Take Exit 494 for River Rd toward Guerneville/Calistoga
-Turn Left
-Follow River Road 15 Miles West to Guerneville
-Drive through downtown Guerneville
-Turn left directly after Safeway into Dawn Ranch
Things to do in the area
Wine tasting in the world-renowned Russian River Valley (think fabulous Chardonnay and Pinot Noir). There are over fifty wineries located within minutes of Dawn Ranch. To plan a little wine excursion, visit: http://www.wineroad.com/wineries
Spend an afternoon swimming or boating on the Russian River. Boat, kayak and canoe rentals are available just a block away from the Lodge.
Spend the day shopping in beautiful downtown Healdsburg, just a short drive away from the lodge.
Put on your hiking boots and explore nearby Armstrong Woods. Take a 1.5mile cycle or stroll through the magical groves of ancient redwoods. We highly recommend it! http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=450
If you arrive in California early, head out to the beautiful California Coast for a day trip, winding your way through some of Northern California’s most picturesque coastal towns. Visit Bodega Bay (setting for Alfred Hitchcock’s famous movie “The Birds”), tour Point Reyes National Seashore, where some of California’s finest organic cheeses are produced, or dine on cioppino while overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Jenner

The Russian River is a popular destination in the summer time. We recommend securing reservations for the wedding weekend well in advance.
Dawn Ranch Lodge
All wedding events will be held at Dawn Ranch Lodge. The property features 53 cozy cottages of varying sizes/prices nesteled among towering redwoods. Rooms have been reserved for family and wedding party. *Reservations for Dawn Ranch are NOT available online, please call and ask for Helen for reservation information.

Located just across the street from Dawn Ranch Lodge, this cottage style accomodation feature Studios, 1 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms, many with their own kitchen. Please note that this property has a two night minimum.

West Sonoma Inn and Spa
Also located across the street from Dawn Ranch Lodge, the West Sonoma Inn and Spa offers spacious accomodations. You may experience better luck booking here if you do not mention that you will be attending a wedding across the street. Note that depending on when you call, they may have a 3 night minimum. As we get closer to the wedding, they end up relaxing that requirement on any unsold rooms.
