We are so excited to welcome everyone to Dawn Ranch Lodge this summer. We hope to create a destination wedding within driving distance of our home in San Francisco, and Dawn Ranch has everything we wanted.
Built in 1905, the main roadhouse lodge building is surrounded by 53 cabin accomodations on 15 acres including a swimming pool, private river access, apple orchard, grassy meadows and beautifully landscaped gardens. The property is also home to one of the last standing bandshells from the Big Band era. An endless resource for fun summer activities.
With so many great areas on the property, we see no reason to leave! We’ll be hosting all of our wedding events here.

Family and the Wedding Party meet in the Bar for a drink before sitting down for dinner around 6:45.
We would love guests arriving Thursday to meet us in the bar for drinks following dinner around 9:30.
A Day on the River!

Please meet in the Dawn Ranch lobby at 10:45 ready to roll. Wear a bathing suit, shoes to walk the river, sunscreen, and a hat. Sandiwches, beer, water, an snacks included.
If you have not already signed up, pre-registration is closed…. but if you want to come please call King’s Sport to reserve a kayak or canoe on your own, then join the group!
The River Excusion is a 3-4 Hour, 5 mile paddle from Johnson Beach in Guerneville, down to the town of Monte Rio (almost to the coast). Food (sandwiches, snacks) and beverages (beer, water), and transportation back to Gueneville will be included.
You have the option of pairing up in either a double canoe or a double kayak, or going single in a kayak. If you get a double, please note you are paying for 2 people, and its up to you to find your partner.
We will meet in the Dawn Ranch lobby at 10:30 am, and walk down Main Street to King’s Sport to get signed in by 11:00. Johnson’s Beach is just a short walk from King’s Sport, where we will take off.
The shuttles should have us back to Guerneville by 3-4 at the latest, to give you time to get ready for the Welcome BBQ!
**If you don’t want to do the full 3-4 hr trip, you are welcome to play/float in the river off the bank from Dawn Ranch. Johnson Beach to Dawn Ranch “Beach” is less then 1/2 mile. You are welcome to bring/purchase tubes or flotation devices in town or at King’s Sport.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 in the Orchard. Cocktail hour to follow.
Reception (dinner and dancing) will be held nearby in the Meadow.
* Cocktail attire. It cools down at night, please dress accordingly and bring layers. Ladies, Dawn Ranch is mostly lawn, please consider if you are planning on wearing heels. Adult only event.
Afterparty in the Bar from 10:00 – 1:30 am.
